Redwood borders 43 St S and 24 Ave S (Highway 4) to Mayor Magrath Dr and is home to one of Lethbridge's four manufactured home parks. The Redwood area consists of a mix of multi-family and single-family housing. The majority of houses were built in the 1970s and 1980s. Redwood has a number of parks, the largest of which is Redwood Park at the centre of the neighbourhood. Commercial developments offering restaurants, gas and convenience stores, grocery, and retail stores can be found on both the southern and western borders of Redwood.

South Lethbridge is the heart of our city, with more shopping and amenities than any other side of the city. Home to our hospital, college, Enmax center, city hall, indoor shopping malls and a huge collection of big box stores; this side of town is perfect for young and old alike.

Situated in the South West corner of Alberta with a beautiful coulee and river bottom separating the city in half. Connecting the two parts of the city is the iconic High Level Bridge. The Lethbridge Viaduct, commonly known as the High Level Bridge, was constructed between 1907–1909 at Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada at a cost of $1,334,525.
